What happens next

Your message is saved on this site’s own server in a directory outside the web root, readable only by the site’s process, together with a hashed (not raw) form of your connection address that is used to limit repeat submissions. It is not sent to any third-party service. Replies go to the email address you entered. Expect an answer within a few days for corrections and pitches; there is no fixed service level.

The form is protected by a hidden field that automated tools tend to fill, a minimum completion time, a signed token that expires, and a limit of five messages per hour from one connection. If a genuine message is refused, wait a few minutes and try again.
