🫦 (biting lip) shows a mouth with the lower lip caught in the teeth. Unicode added it in Emoji 14.0, and its uses split three ways. The best known is desire or flirtation, which is why it appears in the freaky emoji guide. The second is nervousness or anticipation, the way people bite their lip waiting for results. The third is restraint: biting your tongue, holding back a comment.
That ambiguity is useful. “Results tomorrow 🫦” is nerves; “that photo 🫦” is not. Because the emoji is relatively new, it may render as an empty box on older devices; 👄 (mouth) and 💋 (kiss mark) are the older alternatives, though neither carries the bite.
