🤓 (nerd face) shows thick glasses and buck teeth. Officially it is a face for studying, geeking out or being proud of knowing something. In practice it has become a punchline. Replying with 🤓 to a long, over-precise message means you are being a nerd about this, and the “erm, actually ☝️🤓” pairing mocks someone correcting a small detail nobody asked about.
