What the mind blown emoji means
🤯 (exploding head) shows a face with the top of its skull blown off in a cloud. It means mind blown: astonishment at something clever, huge or unexpected, almost always in a positive or awed sense. “Wait, the twins were the same person 🤯” is the classic use. It arrived in Emoji 5.0 (2017) and became the standard reaction for plot twists, facts, and “I never thought of it that way”.
