What the 100 emoji means
💯 (hundred points) is a red “100” with a double underline. Its design copies the mark a teacher in Japan writes on a perfect test, which is where its meaning comes from: full marks, perfect, completely agree. In US slang it also carries “keep it 100” — be honest, be real — so 💯 can mean “facts” as well as “ten out of ten”.
It is one of the original emoji and shows in every font, which makes it a reliable amplifier. Stacked after another emoji it turns up the volume: 🔥💯 is “absolutely fire”, ✅💯 is “correct, no notes”. On its own as a reply it means “agreed, one hundred percent”.
